Before using the air conditioner, please: 1. Inspect the packaging and ensure the product is intact, then let the unit sit for 24 hours before using. 2. Ensure the room temperature is between 41°F and 95°F. 3. Install the hose and window kit according to the instructions. 4. Observe whether the indicator light is on. If only the fan is working and there is no cooling or poor cooling effect, follow these steps: a. Install the window kit. b. Check if the hose is bent or blocked. c. Check if the compressor is working properly. d. Check if the filter is dirty. e. Ensure the set temperature is lower than the room temperature. f. Empty the water tank.

To reduce the frequency of drainage: 1. In cooling mode, use a drain hose to connect to the middle drain hole for continuous drainage. 2. In heating mode, connect the drain hose to the bottom drain hole and find a lower container at the other end for drainage.

The normal room temperature range for compressor operation is 41°F to 95°F (5°C to 35°C).

To reduce noise: 1. Place the unit on a horizontal and firm surface. 2. Secure and tighten the parts. 3. Noise may come from the flowing refrigerant, which is normal.
